Since its creation, CITP has always opted to confront challenges
A winning policy which has helped it to gain internationally renowned customers, to create a name for itself and to forge truly unique expertise in France in the deployment of large-capacity tanks: up to 7 metres in diameter.
But diameter is not the only aspect which the company can handle. Sometimes its products are so huge that they have to be assembled on site.
For example, in 2001 and 2007 gas scrubbers measuring 6 metres in diameter and 33 metres in height were dispatched to Sweden, and the quencher was erected on the spot.
In 2001 one of the largest European scrubbers made of Glass Reinforced Laminate was involved. For these products in particular, CITP has been able to apply its unique expertise in France.
CITP is also able to make mass-produced items like the Azolit® range for storing liquid fertilizer.
Such specificity is securing the future of the company which captured several contracts in late 2006:
- Two tanks, 5 metres in diameter and with a capacity of 71 m3 for EDF's nuclear power stations,
- A scrubbing column, 5 metres in diameter and with a network of shafts 1.7 metres in diameter,
- And three gas scrubbers for UIOMs [household-waste incineration plants] measuring 4.5 and 6 m in diameter and with heights ranging from 25 to 33 m.
